"The decor of the houseboat was really lovely. The area has heaps of supermarkets and shops nearby so it was fantastically located. We had a fantastic time and memorable time. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the boat. When we return home to Australia, our friends will envious when we tell them of our time in a houseboat right on the canal in Amsterdam! It was nice to be able to feed the birds and ducks from our houseboat. Our special thanks to Mark and Ms Dido for their professional and friendly manner and tips on how to get around. They were more than acommodating by allowing us to leave our baggage there due to our late flight."

"Thanks for a great trip. All the travel details worked great thank you - very satisfactory in all regards and we'd definetly recommend the houseboat and Loving Amsterdam. A couple of minor things would have helped: This houseboat is on the bus routes 18 and 21 from Central Station - it took us quite a while to find this out and buy tickets from the various tourist info offices around the station. A few notes in the instructions about busses/tickets would have helped. Metros/trams are not direct. The houseboat has a great skatepark right next to it. Anyone with kids will want to bring their skates - fortunately we did. It's well frequented by the locals who are happy to accommodate newcomers and it was the highlight of Amsterdam for our kids (aged 6,7). Also for kids - the local swimming pool is 100yds away and another great facility for families. The houseboat, Dido and Amsterdam were all great and we enjoyed ourselves. "

"Hello, Just home and found your questionnaire re our stay, but could not get it to work properly. So had to let you know that we fell in love with 'Lilly' and did not want to leave, so put 'way more than very satisfactory' as our answers to all your questions. Our greeter, Kuno, was charming and helpful; we felt instantly at home on the boat, loved the decor, thought the shower was so smart, and the boat had all the equipment we needed, all in immaculate order. (We felt badly that we had to leave undried dishes on the draining board when we left, but our taxi was 15 mins early) Lilly's location was great too, Joordan on the doorstep and quick tram into central Amsterdam. Our favourite restaurant was definitely 'Eetkamer u{v Joordan' (in Westerstraat, I think.) Terrific food, fantastic ambience. We will be back.. just wish it could be soon! Many thanks to all "

The boat was very very clean and we felt at home as soon as we seen it. We travel to amsterdam a couple of times a year and have always used hotels. Never again, I do hope to stay at the boat or an appartment on my next trip and Loving Amsterdam will be the place I look first. Miss Dido was very helpfull and the area was just what we wanted. One small point the weather was fantastic but there was only 1 cold beer in the fridge. Never mind you can make it up next time we stay! See you soon Darren."

"Hi, we had a smashing time on Lilly the Houseboat and have been raving about her and your website to lots of our friends and colleagues. Dido, our greeter was lovely. Very helpful. Willing to meet us at the houseboat earlier than 3pm which was great (otherwise we'd have been dragging our bags around Amsterdam from 11am.) Gave us some useful info about the immediate area. Two beautiful vases of roses and some "Houseboat" sweeties greeted our arrival too, which was very thoughtful. Also a great box of board games which gave the kids something more interesting than the TV/DVD to do in the evenings, that and feeding the ducklings from the verandah (their family had built a nest around the mooring rope of the boat.) "
