The apartment is situated in the Jordaan, a very popular and exclusive area of Amsterdam. You will be in the very heart of this historic city exploring it's small streets offering a diverse variety of boutiques, antiques and speciality stores.
The Jordaan is well known for it's tiny backstreets laced with twisting canals, fresh produce markets and old fashioned cafés and bars capturing the spirit of Amsterdam like nowhere else.
The apartment is extremely well furnished and is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor there is a vast and airy open-plan kitchen, living and dining room providing a dining room table and six chairs, a range of comfortable seating and an entertainment system complete with TV, CD & DVD player.
The kitchen is fully fitted with microwave, oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, coffee maker, and all the cutlery, utensils tableware you will need for your stay.
From the spacious living area, large French doors open onto a lovely private terrace offering the perfect haven for those lazy, candle-lit evenings.
The double bedrooms to the rear and the side of the property overlooking the garden terrace, offer double beds in each, and wardrobes offering ample storage space. A fan is also provided in each bedroom.
There is a luxury full bathroom featuring toilet, sink, and bath. There are also towel rails, a hairdryer and an ironing and ironing board provided for your convenience.
A fixed phone line offering local calls is available for your personal use and wireless internet access is provided.
Additional Booking Conditions:
As with most hotels, on arrival you will be asked to settle the balance of the booking charge in full. In addition you will need to provide a security deposit of EUR 50 in cash.
- In the event of cancellation, your initial booking deposit will be non-refundable.
- In addition, if you cancel up to 14 days prior to your arrival you will be charged a further 25% of the total rental cost.
- If you cancel between 7 and 14 days prior to your arrival date you will be charged a further 40% of the total rental cost.
- If you cancel within 6 days of your arrival date, or do not show, you will be charged the full amount of your rental cost.
- A 4 night minimum stay will apply during Christmas, Easter and Queen´s Day. A 5 night stay will apply during the New Year period, and a 7 night stay will apply during the September annual IBC conference.

"We had a wonderful stay at the tranquility..Apartment-superb-just as advertised EXCEPT that the bath was not a whirlpool one. It was very clean ,all appliances were as expected. The apartment building was also as advertised.The bells in the night from the neighbouring church were also-nothing a few Heineckens didn't fix!! The area was lovely. Plenty of facilities nearby-a very scrummy bakers a few doors down,and a mini supermarket also. All in all, I wouldn't hesistate to go back and would heartily recommend the apartment and the company to family and friends."

"Overall it was very good, we appreciate being allowed to check into the apartmnt early on Thursday, it was a lovely apartment, very quiet but for the bells but I don't think you could do anything about that.
You could have a visitors book there, it would be very useful for recommendations for restaurants in the area and places to see close by. In general the area was very nice and if the weather was a little better it would have been the perfect holliday."
