This lovely two bedroom apartment is situated on the first floor of a traditional canal side building, in Jacob van Lennepkade, on the Western canal belt, close to the Jordaan Quarter.
You are just within a short tram ride of Central station but also close to the beautiful Vondelpark and Museum Square.
The neighbouring district of Jordaan, is brimming with fantastic cafes, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The Jordaan oozes atmosphere with its narrow streets, picturesque canals, brown cafes, art galleries and unique shops. You can easily lose yourself in a pleasant stroll through the enchanting streets that connect the 3 main canals.
This particular apartment is located on the first floor of this building, but please be aware that the staircases are quite steep and there is no lift. This is also a non-smoking apartment.
The apartment is clean, modern and well furnished and consists of a large living room containing two double leather sofas, side tables and reading lamps, a stereo CD player and a TV receiving 33 cable channels. In addition there is a stylish, six seater dining room table and chairs.
The double bedroom has a large double bed, bedside tables and reading lamps and has the balcony which overlooks the rear of the building of the gardens below. The second bedroom offers a single bed and also benefits from a small handbasin within the room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, electric oven and gas hob, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster and all the cutlery, utensils and tableware you will need for your stay.
The bathroom is clean, bright and fully tiled, containing a bath, separate shower, toilet, bidet, dual sink unit, wall cabinet and towel rail. The bathroom also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.
The apartment will be cleaned thorougly before you arrive with sufficient towels and bed linen provided.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- No children under the age of 12 years are permitted to stay in this apartment.
As with most hotels, on arrival you will be asked to settle the balance of the booking charge in full. Payment can either be made by credit card (5% surcharge) or cash.
- In addition the apartment manager will take a pre-authorisation of the balance amount from your credit card as security prior to your arrival. This amount is not taken from your card but is held until you arrive and pay the balance.
- If you cancel your initial booking deposit is non refundable.
- In the event that you need to cancel, your booking, up to 1 month from your arrival date, a cancellation fee equal, in total, to 15% of the full rental charge for your stay, will be incurred.
- Thereafter if you cancel up to 14 days from your arrival date, a cancellation fee equal, in total, to 20% of the full rental charge for your stay, will be incurred.
- If you cancel up to 7 days of your arrival date a cancellation fee equal, in total, to 40% of the full rental charge for your stay, will be incurred.
- If you cancel up to 3 days from your arrival date a cancellation fee equal, in total, to 65% of the full rental charge for your stay, will be incurred.
- If you cancel up to 24 hours of your arrival date a cancellation fee equal to, 85% of the rental charge for your stay, will be incurred.
- If you cancel within 24 hours of your arrival time, or do not show, you will be charged 100% of the rental charge, for your stay.
- Please leave the apartment clean and tidy and clear away any dishes, paperwork or food residues before you leave.
- If the apartment is not left in a reasonably clean condition, a further cleaning charge of 40 Euros may be applied to your credit card.
- If you reduce the number of days or occupancy of your booking, a EUR 25 administration charge will be added to the total cost of your stay.
- For stays across Easter & Queen's Day a 4 night minimum stay will apply and for Christmas and New Year a 6 night minimum stay will apply. Bookings for the IBC conference period will be made on a request basis only.
- A late check-in charge of EUR 25 will apply after 21.00. The latest check-in time is 02.00.

"The apartment is absolutely lovely and I couldn't ask for a better location/neighborhood. It is just close enough to the central/tourist areas for convenience, but far away enough to give the experience of a real residential area - it's a very nice neighborhood and as I said earlier, the location is perfect. I really enjoyed staying at your apartment. It's a much nicer way to experience a city than a hotel and as I said earlier, the location was perfect, with good walking/public transit access. The apartment itself was really quite comfortable for two guests and even in the smaller bedroom, it didn't feel the slightest bit cramped or uncomfortable. Right near the apartment on Marnixstraat is a very pleasant coffeeshop with three floors and a quiet, neighborhood feel (as opposed to some of the more tourist-oriented coffeeshops in the central part of the city). I believe it is called 't Keteltje. This may not be of interest to all guests, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for anyone who asks about such things."

"The booking and checking processes were more than satisfactory, very easy.
The greeter was satisfactory.The apt. was more than expected, very clean, with plenty of towels and bedding.The website description was accurate and the appliances fairly easy to use. I loved the building and the neighborhood that the apt. was it; it was scenic near the canal and convenient to the trams.
I would definitely recommend this apt. to friends and look forward to returning to it myself again.
I would recommend Toussaint Restaurant, as it is close by and the food was wonderful both times we ate there. The apt. and the process was a terrific experience, easy, and the apt. was spacious with wonderful amenities. I would use your website again as I now trust it.
