This superb one bedroom is located in a traditional 19th Century building in The Pijp.
Close to the Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum, and the famous Albert Cuyp Market, The Pijp is full of trendy bars and restaurants and is a truly cosmopolitan hot spot.
The Pijp is just south of the centre of Amsterdam and with excellent public transport links you can be in the the heart of the city within ten minutes by tram.
Arranged over two floors, this second and third floor apartment (3rd & 4th US) consists of a large living/dining room which covers the whole building, with an open plan kitchen and small cloakroom with toilet and hand-basin. On the floor above there is a bedroom and full bathroom. The apartment has wooden parquet floors throughout.
The designer kitchen is open to the living/dining area and has a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and all the cutlery and cooking utensils you will need for your stay.
The living/dining area has a long, teak dining table with six chairs, two comfortable single sofabed, a coffee table and a range of other stylish cupbards and tables. There is a TV with DVD player and CD player.
Complimentary high speed, wireless internet and mobile phone are provided together with a laptop computer, photocopier, scanner and printer all for your own personal use.
From the living room you can access a large balcony with views to the rear of the apartment.
On the floor above is the bedroom with a queen size bed (can be separated into singles on request) bedside tables and reading lamps. This bedroom also has a large wardrobe offering ample storage space , a second TV and an additional balcony offering views to the rear.
The bathroom, also on this floor, is equipped with bath, shower, hand basin and toilet. A hair dryer and complimentary toiletries are provided.
For stays of 7 nights or more a laundry service can be supplied on request.
As is common in traditional Dutch townhouses such as this , the stairs can be very steep so please let us know at the time of booking if you have any mobility problems.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- A 5 night minimum stay will apply during the Christmas, New Year period, Easter and Queen´s Day and a 7 night stay during the annual IBC conference.
- This property has a non-smoking policy throughout, apart from the external areas such as the balcony.
- As with most hotels on arrival you will be asked to pay the balance of the rental charge.
- In the event of cancellation, your initial booking deposit will be non-refundable.
- Thereafter if you cancel up to 14 days prior to your arrival you will be charged a further 25% of the total rental cost.
- If you cancel between 7 and 14 days prior to your arrival date you will be charged a further 40% of the total rental cost.
- If you cancel within 6 days of your arrival date you will be charged the full amount of your rental cost.
